What do I do if I want to get admitted at Manila Doctors Hospital?
As soon as you arrive at Manila Doctors Hospital, the Admission clerk may ask or provide you with information regarding the following:
Please fill out the Admission Form with the necessary information, ensuring the completeness and accuracy as much as possible.
Please read thoroughly before signing the contract of admission. It contains pertinent information regarding your stay and privileges as a patient, as well as the Hospital’s prerogatives.
What can I expect from MDH as soon as I am admitted?
The Hospital provides each admitted patient with a free admission kit.
The Hospital shall supply your clothing and linen. Please bring with you clothes that are necessary for check out only.
Am I expected to deposit for my room?
A deposit equivalent to the rate of the room for at least five (5) days is required on admission. The Credit and Collection Department shall furnish patients with their Statement of Account every two (2) days thereafter to update the patients of their current account. You may also request for your Statement of Account at the Billing Section, found at the Ground Floor of theMDH Main Building.
For emergency cases, a deposit may not be required. However, MDH will admit the patient to the most inexpensive room available.
Can I bring in firearms or weapons?
Firearms and deadly weapons are strictly prohibited within the Hospital. Deposit them with the Security Guard at the Lobby in exchange of a firearms report.
Can I smoke within the Hospital’s premises?
The whole hospital premise is a smoke-free zone.
Can I use our company’s credit line or my HMO card?
Patients who wish to utilize their health cards or their corporate credit lines may submit a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from their respective HMOs or companies. Non-submission of the LOA would mean that the patient would pay for his/her dues personally.
How can I avail of my PhilHealth benefits?
Kindly inform the Admitting Section upon admission if you are a PhilHealth member. Forms can be secured from the Accounting Department. Submit your completed papers before discharge so you can take advantage of your PhilHealth benefits. For further inquiries, please call the PhilHealth Section at (02) 524-3011 Local 8121.
Where can I keep my valuables?
We encourage you to utilize the Safety Deposit Box for your valuables and important documents. THIS SERVICE IS FREE. Contact the Cashier Department at (02) 524-3011 Local 8150.
